Privacy and cookies policy

Controller

The data controller is [company name, registered address, VAT ID], a company established in Poland. Contact: contact@load24.eu.

What data we process

  • Account data: full name or company name, e-mail, password (stored in hashed form), phone number, country, city, VAT number, profile description.
  • Content: listings, photos, offers, questions, messages, notifications.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser, server logs, cookies.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Running your account and connecting shippers with carriers (performance of a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • E-mail notifications about offers, questions and messages (performance of a contract).
  • Security, fraud prevention and statistics (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Advertising and analytics using cookies (consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; you can withdraw consent in the cookie settings).
  • Checking VAT numbers of business accounts in the EU VIES register and, for Polish companies, in the Polish VAT register (legitimate interest in the reliability of the exchange).

Who receives your data

  • The other party to a transaction: after an offer is accepted, the shipper and the carrier see each other’s phone numbers, e-mail addresses and exact addresses.
  • Service providers: hosting (in the European Union), e-mail delivery, geocoding of places (OpenStreetMap Nominatim), payment providers for additional services, advertising networks.

How long we keep your data

For as long as your account exists. When you delete the account we delete your listings, offers, messages and notifications. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: the Polish President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) or the authority in the country where you live. You can delete your account yourself in the settings.

Cookies

  • Essential: login session, form security. Always active.
  • Analytics and advertising: set only after you give consent in the cookie banner.
