Frequently asked questions
Is the site free to use?+
Yes. Posting loads, making offers, messages and notifications are free. The site is funded by advertising and optional promotion of listings.
Do I need a company to post a load or make an offer?+
No. Both private individuals and businesses can create an account. Businesses can add their VAT number, which we show in the profile and check in the EU VIES register.
When will the carrier see my phone number and address?+
Only after you accept their offer. Before that only the city, postcode and region are visible.
Which currency are prices in?+
Loads posted on load24.eu are in euro. Loads from our Polish site ladunki24.pl are in Polish złoty and we show an approximate conversion at the National Bank of Poland rate. Offers are always made in the listing’s currency.
Which VAT rate should I use in my offer?+
The standard rate of your country is preselected. Choose 0 % if you are VAT-exempt or the reverse charge applies to a cross-border transport between businesses.
How long is a listing active?+
14 days from publication. In your dashboard you can refresh it (it returns to the top of the list and gets another 14 days) or close it earlier.
Can I change my offer?+
Yes. Until the shipper accepts it, you can change the price and description or withdraw the offer. The shipper is notified.
What happens after an offer is accepted?+
The listing stops accepting offers, the other offers are rejected, and both sides see contact details and exact addresses. Further arrangements and payment are between the two of you.
Is the site liable for the transport?+
No. We are an exchange that connects the parties; we are not a party to the transport contract. We encourage you to check your counterparty and their liability insurance.
How do you calculate distance?+
By road, based on OpenStreetMap data (OSRM). When the routing server is temporarily unavailable, we show an estimate: the straight-line distance plus 25 %.
How does the “along a route” search work?+
You enter the start and end of your trip and a range (25–100 km). We show loads whose pickup and delivery lie within that corridor, in your direction of travel, ordered from the start to the end of the route.
How do I get notified about new loads?+
Set your filters on the exchange and click “Save search”. Choose instant alerts or a daily summary. You can manage saved searches in your dashboard.
How do I delete my account?+
In the account settings, after confirming your password. We then delete your listings, offers, messages and notifications.
